Bangkok: Wat Phra Kao 玉佛寺

The Emerald Buddha statue originated in India as explained in the legend, but it is also linked to first vassal Kingdom of Cambodia. The image disappeared when Burmese raiders sacked Ayuttaya also spelt "Ayudaya" and the image was feared lost

Men: must wear long pants
Women: long skirt, long pants, shirt with sleeves
(long  tight pants CANNOT !! quarter pants CANNOT !! see through CANNOT !!)

if they think that you not wearing proper, they not allow you to go in to buy ticket !!
but no worry, there is a place where you can rent pants (for men) or sarong (for women)
just put minimum 200Baht (can get back the money after you return the pants/sarong)
